Green Stormwater Solutions is a sustainability-first water resources design firm.
We combine science, nature, and technology to develop projects that align with the quadruple-bottom-line: People, Planet, Profit, and Purpose.
Our goal is to provide optimal value to clients while creating a more equitable and sustainable future.
We serve non-residential property owners with sites within the Philadelphia region who are experiencing the burden of high stormwater utility bills and who are committed to develop, operate, and maintain systems that treat their stormwater on-site in exchange for credit in their stormwater bill.
Additionally, we provide engineering consulting services to local builders, engineers, and stormwater maintenance companies that are required to provide green stormwater infrastructure expertise to best serve their clients.
Finally, we partner with schools, places of worship, as well as non-profit, governmental, and community outreach organizations interested in promoting environmental awareness and stewardship, as it relates to natural resources and clean waters.
We live at a point in time when clean water is becoming a scarce resource worldwide. Our old ways of doing business and expanding our footprint have created a measurable detriment to our natural resources. Fortunately, we are beginning to understand our true impact within the delicate balance of nature and are taking measures towards reaching a more sustainable future. We are set apart from the competition for two main reasons:
From grant-funding sourcing to design and implementation, we have the expertise and partner with like-minded professionals to create a “one-stop-shop” for green stormwater infrastructure. We have the knowledge and experience to identify our customers’ stormwater-related needs and develop solutions that can best serve their bottom line, while striving towards a greater purpose for their users, their community, and the environment.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development of numerous environmentally friendly projects in the Northeast Region, Florida, and the Bahamas. Furthermore, many of his projects have helped the City of Philadelphia meet its long-term sustainability targets through the PWD's Stormwater Grants Program.
Mr. Rodriguez also serves as an adjunct professor at Thomas Jefferson University, where he teaches Urban Hydrology for the School of Landscape Architecture and for the Master of Science in Sustainable Design program.
